This exhibition examines communication within contemporary social settings, focusing on the phenomenon of language becoming hyper-affirmative. We see this form of dialogue as language stuck in a mirror maze, as they can’t find ways to the new meanings.
Bringing together painting, installation, video, and sculptural works, the exhibition explores how meaning emerges through interruption rather than clarity. Across bodily gestures, technical surfaces, and layered image systems, the works create moments where language slips, fractures, and resists smooth transmission.
Within this shared space, the assemblage of works constitutes a call to ‘Don’t Mirror Back’. Through interaction with the audience, the exhibition adopts ‘ cracking mirrors’ as a pathway to create meaning.
When language slips free of its returning path, new directions finally come into view
